Kidney Cancer:

Kidneys are two bean-shaped organs located in the posterior abdomen close to the liver and spleen. Kidneys’ function is to clean the blood from wastes and eliminate them in the urine.
The increasing incidence of kidney cancer may be explained by the rising number of ultrasound and CT scans performed for different reasons.
Kidney cancer is usually asymptomatic in its early stages.

Symptoms may include:

  • Blood in your urine
  • Pain in the back
  • Loss of appetite and unexplained weight loss
  • Tiredness
  • Fever

Urothelial and bladder cancer:

These types of cancer develop in the urothelial cells that line the inside of the urinary tract.
The bladder is the most targeted organ for urothelial cancers with typical cauliflower-like shape lesion.

Symptoms may include:

  • Blood in your urine
  • Burning urination
  • Urge to urinate

Once the diagnosis is confirmed, the urologist will remove the growth from the bladder with a dedicated endoscopic device called “resectoscope”.
